President: René Verwey
Born in Arnhem, Netherlands, René traveled to Canada when he was just 18 years old. He became a successful entrepreneur, having multiple businesses and employees for over 35 years. René and his wife, Celeste, reside in Enderby and are actively involved at the Enderby Legion. Their nephew is in his second term as Infantry at PPCLI.
”My father was in the Dutch military for 38 years,” says René. “The Legion is very important to me. I will help to support my fellow Executives, employees, and volunteers of Branch 98. Thank you for this opportunity.”
