Completed applications, including letters of reference, must be returned to Branch 98 no later than May 8, 2026. Applicants must provide the above information to expedite the application process. It is the applicant's responsibility to complete the application in full and to ensure that all related items are submitted by the deadline date.
These bursaries and scholarships are based primarily on the student's family financial situation, and the student's academic standing and contribution to student and community life. Bursaries are awarded to residents of the immediate catchment area of Branch 98. All applicants must provide the following:
1. Applicants must include two (2) letters of reference from members of the community, their school, or their place of employment (one letter supporting their character, the other supporting their field of study). A family relation is not permitted to write this on their behalf;
2. A letter addressed to the scholarship committee stating their future plans. This letter should include:
immediate plans after graduation
1. Applicant must have proof of relationship with a current Member who is in good standing at Branch 98, or a documented proof of relationship to a member of their family, past or present, that served in the Canadian Forces or RCMP;
2. Applicants with service in the 3063 Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps shall also be eligible for these bursaries;
3. Applicants must include two (2) letters of reference from members of the community, their school, or their place of employment (one letter supporting their character, the other supporting their field of study). A family relation is not permitted to write this on their behalf;
4. A letter addressed to the scholarship committee stating their future plans. This letter should include:
All financial payouts for these bursaries will be fulfilled upon confirmed registration to an accepted post-secondary institution, including trade schools.
All completed applications must be returned in full to Enderby Legion Branch 98 by May 8, 2026.
